I am very pleased with the installation. Michael was much more informative in regards to the scales operation than our previous suppliers have been. The Ascorel Scale is a much better system that others we have used.
The scale has also been able to be used as a diagnostic tool for our loaders hydraulic system.

PROBLEM
The Lake Wales plant has been using on board scale for their wheel loaders for several years. They currently have a CAT 972 G that has a non working Loadrite Scale. The cost to repair the Loadrite scale is more than what we can sell them an MC382 for. This combined with our scales easy to use architecture and high degree of reliability make purchasing our scale a smart decision.
On Board scales are used to accurately load trucks before they travel over a standard weigh bridge.
The on board scales are also used to load large transport trucks that supply sand to a local tile and brick plant. These transport trucks are to large to cross the weigh bridges.

SOLUTION
Remove the Loadrite scale and replace with an MC382 and Able printer.
The Loadrite installation used fittings that had been drilled and tapped into the OEM cat fittings. While this is contrary to our standard procedures we decided to reuse those access points to minimize intrusion into the hydraulic system. Due to the amount of wires entering the cab for the Loadrite system removal of the old system took longer than expected.
It was discovered during calibration that the loader has an issue with its hydraulic system. Pressures started to vary when the loader was under heavy use.
